Mekelle university College of Business and Economics in collaboration with Imagine One Day organized a consultative workshop on a theme "The Role of Social Entrepreneurship in Addressing the Socio-Economic and Environmental Problems in Tigray" on march 13 at Zemaryas Hotel.
The main objective of this platform is to put pressure on social entrepreneurship to be implemented, and to raise our environment and society to a better standard of living by using the draft ideas presented by social entrepreneurship to overcome the current social, economic and environmental problems of Tigray.

In the occasion, research articles on Tigray's current socio-economic and environmental problems were presented and discussed. Moreover, new creative works and work experiences of organizations working in social enterprise to solve these problems were discussed in detail.
During the discussions, the participants called on the government and regional administrators to make policy changes of different sizes and encourage young social enterprises to do their part to implement social entrepreneurship.
