Empowering Minds and Advocating for Safety: A Transformative Workshop at the College of Business and Economics
The College of Business and Economics hosted a vital workshop on Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) and Landmine Awareness, aimed at equipping academic staff with knowledge and tools for fostering well-being and advocating for safety.
This impactful event was made possible through the generous financial support of imagine1day. The Dean of the College, Hailemichael Gessese expressed sincere gratitude to imagine1day for its continued partnership, extending special thanks to the Regional Director, Mr. Libabe Gebaw for his unwavering commitment to meeting the college’s demands. He also emphasized the importance of sustained engagement to further strengthen collaboration.
On his part, the Regional Director of imagine1day urged the university community to actively engage in landmine advocacy, highlighting the growing and urgent consequences of landmine-related threats. He reaffirmed imagine1day’s dedication to expanding collaboration efforts with the university in addressing critical issues.
