In-House Curriculum Revision Workshop Underway at EiT-M
MEKELLE — The Ethiopian Institute of Technology-Mekelle (EiT-M) at Mekelle University is currently hosting an important in-house workshop focused on Outcome Based Education (OBE) curriculum revision.
The workshop commenced today, June 13, 2026, at 9:00 AM, at the Agri Hall on the Mekelle University campus.
The sessions are dedicated to updating and refining the undergraduate curriculum for seven key engineering and science disciplines:
B.Sc. in Civil Engineering
B.Sc. in Electrical & Computer Engineering
B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering
B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering
B.Sc. in Construction Technology & Management
B.Sc. in Heritage Conservation
B.Sc. in Computer Science
Organized entirely by EiT-M, the event marks a significant step forward in aligning the university's technical and scientific education with modern, objective-driven framework standards. The institution has extended an open invitation to all interested academic staff and participants to attend and contribute to the ongoing discussions
