IYF Tigray Signs MoUs with Tigray’s Leading Public Universities Amid Celebrations.
On June 13, 2025, IYF Tigray commemorated its 8th anniversary and the second anniversary of the Mekelle University Institute of Mindset Education (IMSE) with a series of significant milestones and partnerships.
The event was marked by the signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) between IYF Tigray and four prominent public universities in the region: Mekelle University, Axum University, Adigrat University, and Raya University. These agreements aim to foster collaboration in education, youth empowerment, and innovative development initiatives.
During the celebration, Dr. Fana Hagos, President of Mekelle University, delivered opening remarks emphasizing the importance of continued partnership. She expressed appreciation for IYF’s eight years of impactful work and congratulated the IMSE on its successful two-year journey, highlighting its contributions to mindset transformation and youth development.
The event was attended by distinguished guests, including Dr. Lee Guang Bo, General Director of IYF Asia, and Dr. Shi Yong Shen, General Director of IYF Ethiopia and Director of IMSE at Mekelle University. Both leaders called for strengthened collaboration among all parties to maximize the impact of their joint efforts in education and youth empowerment.
