Mekelle University VPRCE, ARID Director, CDANR Dean and technical experts visited Mekhoni Agricultural Research and Innovation Center (MARIC)
A team lead by Dr. Eyasu Yazew, Vice President for Research and Community Engagement, visited and supervised the installation of drip irrigation system at MARIC. The drip technology, demonstration and research site is financed by the "Capacity Building of Ethiopian Agricultural Universities” Project funded by USAID under Feed the Future Innovation Lab. for Sustainable Intensification.

The team observed the drip irrigation system installation progress, held discussion with the contractor, provided critical issues that need to be addressed and gave directions on the way forward.
The team also visited the various agricultural production, seed multiplication and research activities underway on the 100 ha Research and Innovation Centre. #WeReallyCare!!
