National Curriculum Validation Workshop for M.A. Program in Gender Studies Successfully Opened at Mekelle University!
The Institute of Gender Studies at Mekelle University is hosting a National Curriculum Validation Workshop for its upcoming M.A. Program in Gender Studies today, June 25, 2026, at the Agriculture Hall, Main Campus.
In her welcoming address, Mrs. Berhan Habte, Director of the Institute of Gender Studies, emphasized the significance of the program, stating: "Gender issues are not just women's issues; they are concerns for all of humanity. Launching this program at a Master's level contributes significantly to the university's growth and provides a vital academic alternative for knowledge seekers."
The workshop was officially opened by Dr. Abdelkadir Kedir, Academic Vice President of Mekelle University.
