​We are thrilled to share highlights from the Consultative Workshop on Strategic Partnership Building held on February 16, 2026, at Mekelle.
​Organized by the College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, MU in collaboration with PELUM Ethiopia, this workshop focused on the "Participatory Indigenous Chicken Conservation and Development Program in Tigray."
​The goal? To build strong strategic partnerships that ensure the conservation of our local poultry breeds while empowering our communities through sustainable development. Our indigenous chickens are vital for food security and represent a resilient part of our regional heritage!
