Mekelle University's Institute of Paleo-Environment and Heritage Conservation (IPHC) Hosts Consultative Workshop
Mekelle University's Institute of Paleo-Environment and Heritage Conservation (IPHC) recently held a consultative workshop with culture and tourism experts from the Southeastern Zone of Tigray. The primary aim of the workshop was to develop strategies for the assessment, preservation, promotion, and commercialization of heritage and tourism resources within the region.
The event saw participation from representatives of various weredas in the zone, members of the IPHC community, and a representative from the Vice President for Research and Community Engagement. Both the IPHC and the Southeastern Zone representatives reaffirmed their commitment to collaborate on initiatives designed to preserve, promote, and enhance the local tourism sector.
