On May 26, 2024, EiTM, Mekelle University in collaboration with CAMA, Collaboration for Active Mobility in Africa Project has organized an enjoyable and successful 10 km city cycling event in Mekelle as continuation of the previous expert workshop and walking event. The main objective of the cycling event is to promote bike-ride activities as users and to experiment the viability of cycling on the existing roads of the city. During the event 30 cycle riders and 6 facilitators have participated. As an input, participants have expressed their feedback that the event was enjoyable and recommended to continue such events in regular basis.
